Philadelphia is not one city. It's 13.
Every JAWN Bear comes from a block. Here's where they're from.
Northern Liberties
New money in an old jawn.
South Philly
Hands up. Heart heavier.
Fishtown
Knows the bartender. Knows the cook. Knows the cook's cousin.
Penn's Landing
Lives on the river. Watches the city from the water.
Old City
Was here first. Will be here last.
West Philly
The block is a classroom. KNOW is the teacher.
North Philly
The pride of the block. Carry it everywhere.
Fairmount
Park bench philosopher. Museum steps regular.
Chinatown
Knows the back door. Knows the family. Knows the right table.
Center City
Lives high. Works late. Walks everywhere.
Brewerytown
Builds it himself. Drinks one when it's done.
Italian Market
Family first. Sandwich second. Then everything else.
Strawberry Mansion
Gave America jazz. Doesn't ask for credit.
Block by Block.
Philadelphia doesn't have neighborhoods — it has worlds. Fishtown and Kensington share a border and almost nothing else. Old City is where the country started. Fairhill is where the flags never come down. Strawberry Mansion gave America jazz and rarely gets credit for it.
JAWN Bears started with a simple idea: what if each of these worlds had a bear? Not a mascot. Not a caricature. A character — with a story, a fit, a way of carrying itself that could only come from that specific block.
Thirteen neighborhoods. Thirteen bears. One city.
